Athletics

Holt Public Schools provides a variety of athletic activities in which students may participate providing they meet any eligibility requirements that may apply. Sport physicals must be on file with the Athletic Director before participating in tryouts. Physicals must be dated on or after April 15 to be valid for the following school year.

High school students enter through a separate gate where student ID and valid ticket will be checked for entry.

TRANSPORTATION

We provide one way transportation to the athletic events less than 30 miles away. Round trip busing is available for all contests over 30 miles away.

Registration for all Junior High Athletics is completed via the FinalForms online portal.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must be passing 66% of their current class schedule to be eligible to participate in sports, as per MHSAA guidelines.

District Policy for Students Attending Athletic Events

Students in grades K-8 need to be accompanied by an adult to enter.

Students who show up without an adult will not be granted entry into games.
Students should be monitored by the adult with whom they entered the game.
All school and District rules apply.
No student bags are allowed.
