SPORT REGISTRATION

Holt Public Schools provides a variety of athletic activities in which students may participate providing they meet any eligibility requirements that may apply. All students' grades 6th-12th that wish to participate in Holt Athletics sponsored sports must create an account through Final Forms in order to participate in athletics. All forms must be completed, and a valid physical must be uploaded prior to participation. Final Forms

MHSAA PHYSICAL

Sport physicals must be on file with the Athletic Director before participating in tryouts. Physicals must be dated on or after April 15 to be valid for the following school year.MHSAA Physical Form

PAY-TO-PARTICIPATE FEES

All students interested in participating in athletic activities must also pay the pay to participate fee for the year. This fee covers all Holt Athletics Sponsored sports a student wishes to participate in and is paid once a year. This fee helps the athletic department cover program operational costs and is separate from any program fee some sports may assess to those participating. ELIGIBILITY

Students must be passing 66% of their current class schedule to be eligible to participate in sports, as per MHSAA Guidelines  

TRANSPORTATION

We provide one way transportation when available to athletic events less than 30 miles away.  Round trip busing when available is provided for location more than 30 miles away from Holt High School.

EVENT LOCATIONS

Football, Lacrosse, Soccer - Michael Smith Memorial Stadium

For football games only, we have a home and visitor entrance to the stadium. Only Holt students are permitted to enter through the Home entrance. Any students who are not Holt students must enter and stay on the Visting side of the stadium. Concessions are available for purchase on both sides with card and/or cash. 

For Lacrosse, Soccer, and Track and Field games/meets, all fans enter through the Home entrance of the stadium 

Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Cheer - Holt High School Main Gymnasium

Entry for all games is at the West Entrance of Holt High School. Concessions are available for purchase with card and/or cash. 

Swimming and Diving - Holt High School Natatorium 

Entry for all meets is at the East Entrance of Holt High School. 

Gymnastics - Holt High School North Campus Auxiliary Gym

Entry for all meets is at the Main entrance of Holt High School North Campus. 

Bowling - City Limits Bowling Alley in Mason, MI

Tennis - Tennis Courts adjacent to Michael Smith Memorial Stadium

Golf - Eldorado Golf Course

Baseball and Softball - Holt High School

Baseball and Softball fields are located behind Holt High School. 

STUDENT ENTRY INFORMATION

• High school students enter through a separate gate where student ID will be checked prior to entry. No students from visiting schools will be permitted to enter on the home side for football games. No students from visiting schools are permitted in the Holt student section at any home contests. 

• Students in grades K-8 MUST be accompanied by an adult to enter.
  • Students who show up without an adult will not be granted entry into games.
  • Students MUST be monitored by the adult with whom they entered the game.
  • All school and District rules apply. 
  • No student bags are allowed.
