Curriculum

Holt Public Schools strives to help each and every student achieve his or her full academic potential. Our curriculum is developed to provide a solid foundation in core subjects and competency within all standardized testing guidelines, while also developing a well-rounded education that includes technology and the arts.  We continue to align our curriculum with the most current State-adopted mandates.  The State of Michigan is a member of a large national consortium of states that has embraced the Common Core Curriculum.  Holt Public Schools is aligning what is taught in our schools with the new Common Core Curriculum.  Details of the Common Core State Standards may be found at:  http://www.corestandards.org/the-standards.
