Community Education

Education is ongoing - and encompasses far more than academics.  Holt Public Schools believes in providing educational and enrichment opportunities for all members of our community, at any stage in life.


Holt Community Education has a NEW web site and online registration system!  You can view information on youth/adult enrichment classes and aquatics lessons at holt.revtrak.net - or click HERE to register!

 

 

2013-2014 STAR LEARNERS Preschool (Great Start Readiness Program)

FREE 4 year old preschool for qualifying families

 

Applications for the Star Learners Preschool (Great Start Readiness Program) are now available at the Holt Community Education Office as well as on line (see links below).  For updates regarding the application process, please stop in to the Holt Community Education Office or click on the “GSRP Application Letter” link below.  Please read the “GSRP Application Letter” before submitting your application as important application information is enclosed in the letter.

 

Please note the following registration requirements:

  • Child must be four years of age on or before November 1, 2013, but not five years of age
  • Child must reside within the Holt Public School District or any Ingham County School District (consideration will be given to in-district families first)
  • Family must meet program eligibility criteria as determined by the State of Michigan

 

This program is licensed by the Michigan Department of Human Services and funded by a grant from the Michigan Department of Education in conjunction with the Ingham ISD.
