SCHOOL INFORMATION

 

Welcome to Dimondale Elementary School, an elementary school in the Holt School District. We are in a small river community of Dimondale with the Grand River flowing through the village. We currently have 335 students with 21 teachers and 18 support staff. We are a Kindergarten through fourth grade elementary school with a pre-school program for three and four year olds through the Holt Community Education program. Mrs. Dawn Osoff is the building secretary and Mr. James F. Cooper is our principal.

Dimondale Elementary School is located between Walut Street and Oak Street. We are two blocks east of Bridge Street off of Jefferson Street. Our Main Entrance is in the Courtyard off of Walnut Street. All other doors remain locked during the school day for the safety of the students and staff. Short term parking for parents is available by the courtyard on Walnut Street. For longer stays there is a parking lot off of Oak Street or on Walnut Street. There is turn-around at the end of Walnut Street for the safe dropping off or picking up of students. The building staff park in the Oak Street parking lot. Parents and community members are welcome in the building but must report to the office, just off the main entrance courtyard door. Vistors will be asked to sign in and may be asked to show identification.
